We are proud to offer complete Desktop Publishing services to our clients, a service we have been providing for over 10 years. Our extensive experience and knowledge give us the skills necessary to ensure that your finished product looks great.

Pre-press design work can be very complicated, requiring extensive knowledge of the printing process, how inks interact with each other and various paper types and colours, and can be disastrous if it is not done right the first time.

We currently work with the following design / pre-press software packages:

• QuarkXPress
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Streamline

We also support the following, but do not primarily design in these applications:

• PageMaker
• Freehand
• CorelDraw

Any software which we do not have listed here, such as Microsoft Publisher, has been excluded primarily because of these programs not properly handling pre-press activities, including process and spot color separations and trapping adjustments, which makes them extremely problematic and unpredictable when going to offset press.

Microsoft is currently working on improving these capabilities of Publisher, however we believe it will be a few years before it is thoroughly acceptable, and even then it will still be far behind the industry standard QuarkXPress.
